The Director of Rehabilitation Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the development, management, and operation of rehabilitation services at PAM Health. This role requires a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs and services that meet the needs of patients and the community.
- Manage and supervise a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
- Collaborate with hospital administrators, medical directors, and department managers to ensure effective coordination of rehabilitation services.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor program performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide direct therapy to patients as needed, and maintain competencies necessary to treat patients in various age groups.
- Current license as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist in the state where the hospital resides.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement rehabilitation programs and services that meet the needs of patients and the community.
