AgReserves is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control and Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and storage of products and related materials.
Responsibilities:
- Support internal and external customer requirements through effective inventory management and logistics coordination.
- Plan, implement, and manage inventory automation, warehouse management, and transportation requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records through daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation.
- Administer inventory tracking systems to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Monitor and evaluate inventory levels, including Finished Goods, Work-in-Process, oil stock, packaging materials, and fiber inventory.
- Recommend improvements to inventory control procedures and propose strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain logistics.
- Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Collaborate with QA and purchasing departments to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Perform and update daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly processing and inventory validations and logistics.
- Validate inventory for financial and physical reconciliations.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory and/or logistics, or equivalent education in a related field.
- Bachelor's degree highly desired.
- Experience using inventory tracking hardware and managing databases (ERP) and supply chain software.
- Strong technical and computer skills, with proficiency in Spanish language preferred.
- Valid in-state driver's license and ability to obtain forklift certification.
