Join Our Team as a Makeup Artist at Hourglass Cosmetics

We are seeking a talented and creative Makeup Artist to join our Prince Street Flagship store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beauty services to our customers, promoting our products, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Makeup Application: Provide professional makeup services, including consultations and application, and educate customers on product usage and application methods.
  • Eyebrow/Grooming Services: Perform eyebrow shaping and grooming services, consult with customers to determine the best eyebrow shape and style for their face, and stay updated on current makeup trends and product innovations.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, provide excellent service to ensure a positive shopping experience, build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business, and handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Product Promotion: Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs and preferences, participate in product launches and promotional events, and support Store Management on all events and marketing initiatives.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition, and adhere to inventory processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in providing professional makeup application, brow services, and exceptional guest services.
  • Flexible and able to work varying schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to attract prospective clients, maintain an active clientele portfolio, and drive sales.
  • Adept at positively and proactively handling guest concerns and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand and bend frequently and lift and/or move up to 15 lbs.
