Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Specialist to join our team at Elite Talent Partners. As a licensed professional, you will be an integral part of our ACT team of behavioral health clinicians, working closely with clients and their families to provide comprehensive support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Family Support and Advocacy: Work with clients to establish and expand their social and community support systems, and provide advocacy services to ensure their needs are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Lead the ACT team in clinical meetings around family issues, and integrate family goals and services with the tasks of all team members.
  • Psychoeducation and Training: Provide family psychoeducation individually and in groups, and participate in the development of comprehensive and 6-month service plans.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide crisis intervention services, including 24-hour crisis intervention on-call services, and work with clients to address individual needs for problem-solving, wellness, self-management, housing, income, and employment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete all required progress notes and recording data relevant to responsibilities and the effective operations and delivery of ACT services.

Requirements:

  • Experience and Knowledge: Must have experience understanding family systems based on diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and knowledge of ACT family support services and advocacy groups and community resources.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Must have computer skills necessary to meet online reporting and documentation requirements, referrals, research, and data reporting.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in an office environment. The Family Specialist must be able to work effectively with clients, support systems, and providers, and must have the ability to work within the scope of responsibilities, particularly with regards to one's specialties and tasks as recognized and assigned by the Team Leader.
