Position Overview

QinetiQ US is on the lookout for a dynamic, hands-on, and diligent Senior Business Analyst specializing in cybersecurity to provide essential support for programs associated with a federal client. This role is integral to the Department of Transportation's (DOT's) Office of Cybersecurity Information Protection and its initiatives related to Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM).

The Office of Cybersecurity and Information Protection oversees the DOT Cybersecurity and Privacy Programs, ensuring compliance with both internal and external cybersecurity and privacy policies, laws, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in the following areas:

  • Facilitating and actively participating in meetings, working sessions, and briefings.
  • Conducting meetings to gather and analyze requirements effectively.
  • Performing data analysis utilizing various data forms and providing actionable recommendations based on findings.
  • Training and mentoring team members and new hires on support processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Managing data entry and updates to DOT systems.
  • Assisting in the coordination of data requests.
  • Generating reports in multiple formats, including Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Reviewing and aiding in the revision of governance documents such as policies to ensure alignment with Cyber authorities like NIST.
  • Recommending and implementing process enhancements and solutions.
  • Executing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Exhibiting meticulous attention to detail in all work-related tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management, requirements gathering, technical documentation, and delivering presentations to audiences at various seniority levels.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity and Access Management (IdAM).
  • Basic understanding of enterprise tools and networks (e.g., Active Directory, Windows Server 2019, and ServiceNow), web applications (e.g., data-in-transit encryption, TLS HTTPS, IIS), and account types.
  • Fundamental knowledge of access protocols such as SSH for Linux and Cisco, RDP for Windows, and HTTPS for web.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic familiarity with enterprise tools like CyberArk and SailPoint.
  • Experience collaborating with DOT and/or federal civilian clients.
