Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily operations of custodial staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure exceptional service levels.
- Develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for tasks, events, and special projects.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high cleaning standards and address deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory and supply levels, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of cleaning products and equipment.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring staff use proper protective equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations quickly and effectively.
- Coordinate with vendors for specialty cleaning services or equipment maintenance.
- Monitor the custodial budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for custodial team members.
- Maintain accurate records of custodial tasks, inspections, performance, and incidents, and prepare reports for management.
- Organize and supervise large-scale cleaning projects, ensuring timely completion and high standards.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to custodial operations and introduce new technologies to increase efficiency.
- At least 2 years of experience in cleaning and supervisory roles within a large facility.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's license is required for this role.
- Flexibility with start and end times, including the ability to work weekends and statutory holidays as required.
- A clear criminal background check is mandatory for this position.
