We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Teacher to join our team at CHI Memorial Chattanooga. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Greet parents, children, and staff with a warm and welcoming smile
• Maintain the well-being of children, including changing diapers, assisting with restroom needs, and promoting hand-washing habits
• Clean and maintain classrooms daily, ensuring a safe and organized environment for children to learn and play
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet Tennessee TN-ELDS standards, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children
• Provide positive interactions with children, parents, and staff, encouraging teamwork and collaboration
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director or team lead

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pediatric/Adult Heartsaver CPR and First Aid certification required by TN childcare licensing, obtained within 30 days of employment
