Child Care Lead

The Child Care Teacher Lead is responsible for the care, supervision, safety, and instruction of a specific group of assigned children or infants. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain smooth, cooperative working relationships with others.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and supervision to children or infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Develop and maintain effective communication with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
* Collaborate with the childcare team to plan and implement engaging activities, lessons, and programs that meet the needs of children.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; education and training in early child care development or a related field preferred.
* Five years of experience working in a child care setting, with a focus on leadership and team management.
* Pediatric/Adult Heartsaver CPR and First Aid certification required by TN childcare licensing, obtained within 30 days of employment.
