Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement music and movement activities for preschool children, fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with educators and specialists to create a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional development in young children.
  • Attend monthly training sessions to expand upon an existing portfolio of developmentally appropriate Jewish songs, enhancing musical knowledge and skills.
Essential Job Requirements
  • Lift and move with children (up to 40 lbs), demonstrating physical stamina and agility.
  • Supervise children by sight and sound, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop strong skills on guitar, keyboard, or other instrument, with knowledge of developmentally appropriate music for preschool children.
  • Comfortable singing and playing an instrument in both small and large groups, promoting musical expression and creativity.
Requirements
  • Experience working with 5-year-olds, understanding their unique needs and developmental stages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with children, educators, and specialists.
