Join Synerfac as a premier testing laboratory seeks a full-time Lab Chemist to develop, oversee, and validate all testing services. This role will enable the lab to expand in the metals testing industry. Key responsibilities include adhering to ISO laboratory practices, authoring and validating SOPs for testing metals, and optimizing metals testing services on analytical instrumentation. The ideal candidate has prior knowledge of analytical instrumentation, such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS, XRF, and spectro analytical equipment. Experience in developing and optimizing analytical testing methods for compounds is essential. A minimum of 3 years of management experience in a regulated QA/QC laboratory is required. The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and over 5 years of experience in lab testing, method development, and validation in wet chemistry and instrumental chemistry. The Technical Director will assist in preparing the laboratory for accreditation standards and audits. The QA manager will create corrective actions, and the candidate will implement them. The final review of all metals technical data before client distribution is also a key responsibility. The candidate must be familiar with techniques such as electroplating, titrimetry, gravimetric methods, ion exchange separations, and solvent extraction.
