Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Support Coordinator III to join our team at Children's Home Network. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support to families and children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Family Support: Provide individualized support to families, including assessment, planning, and coordination of services to meet their unique needs.
  • Case Management: Develop and implement family support plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educators, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to family support.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with families, colleagues, and community partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of family support plans, progress, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience working with children and families.
  • Experience: Proven experience in family support, case management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of child development and family dynamics.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid Florida driver's license, FDLE clearance, and Federal background and state criminal background checks.

Competencies and Professional Development:

  • Annual Training Requirements: Completion of annual training topics, including Sexual Harassment, Blood-borne Pathogens, Workplace Accident Prevention and Reporting, Confidentiality and Privacy Practices, Diversity/Cultural Competency, Child Abuse and Neglect Mandated Reporter Statutes and Methods, Prevention of Violence in the Workplace, OSHA-related training, Crisis Prevention, and Program Goals.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, establish effective working relationships, and possess effective interpersonal skills, with knowledge of agency policies, procedures, and standards.
