Role Overview:
As a Chaos Performance Specialist at IntraEdge, you will be instrumental in orchestrating and executing performance and chaos experiments tailored for our enterprise systems. Your focus will be on enhancing the reliability of our core software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Experimentation:** Design, plan, and implement chaos and performance experiments to ensure system robustness.
2. **Reliability Enhancement:** Continuously work on improving the reliability of essential software systems.
3. **Customer Focus:** Prioritize customer satisfaction in all initiatives and projects.
4. **Continuous Learning:** Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to adapt our practices accordingly.
5. **Collaboration:** Work closely with stakeholders and fellow engineers to foster effective communication and teamwork.
6. **Issue Resolution:** Quickly address changes and resolve any issues that arise, taking full accountability for outcomes.
7. **Automation:** Leverage automation tools to optimize processes and reduce manual tasks.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the field.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in application performance monitoring and observability, with a focus on proactive alert correlation and container monitoring.
- Skilled in defining service level objectives, measuring service level indicators, and establishing error budgets.

Strong SRE Knowledge:
- Familiarity with incident response, change/release management, capacity planning, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience in chaos engineering and conducting blameless postmortems.
- Proven track record in enhancing CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes.

Technology Stack:
- **Cloud Platforms:** Openshift, various Kubernetes distributions, Docker.
- **Monitoring Tools:** Splunk, Thanos, Dynatrace, Prometheus.
- **Networking:** Understanding of protocols and load balancers.
- **Programming Languages:** Java, Python, YAML.
- **Version Control:** GitHub.
- **Infrastructure as Code:** Terraform.
- **Automation Tools:** Jenkins, Chef, Puppet.
