About Behavior Genius

We provide supportive services for individuals with special needs, delivering direct behavioral treatment across various environments in Southern California. Our commitment is to individualized, goal-oriented, and data-driven services, aiming to help each individual achieve more.

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles. You will work with children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in home, community, and school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
  2. Teach communication, social, and self-care skills to children ages 2-18 years.
  3. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
  4. Implement behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors.
  5. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress.

Requirements:

  • No experience is required; experience with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development.
  • Minimum availability requirement: 10 hours per week within designated time slots.
