Life Enrichment Assistant Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Willows Bend Senior Living. This is a part-time, day/early evening shift position that includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

About the Role:

The Life Enrichment Assistant will assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, implementing, and evaluating life enrichment programming for residents. This includes assisting in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents, leading activities, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing life enrichment programs
  • Lead activities and events for residents, including games, arts and crafts, and educational programs
  • Interact effectively and compassionately with senior living residents and staff
  • Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to ensure seamless program execution

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of basic Microsoft/computer programs
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior living residents and staff
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Comfortable leading activities with older residents

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but willing to consider others with the right skills and/or previous related work experience
  • One to three years previous experience working with older adults, leading activities, or working in a therapy or recreation role

Compensation and Benefits:
