The Role of Administrative Assistant III

The Administrative Assistant III plays a crucial role in supporting the overall mission of the Office of Advancement, which includes both Georgia Gwinnett College and the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation.

This position carries out administrative management responsibilities, performs budget-related duties, and manages daily operations for the Office of Advancement. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Office of Advancement leadership, manage office budgets, and ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative support to the Office of Advancement leadership, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • Manages office budgets, monitors expenses, and reconciles monthly purchasing.
  • Supports daily operations, including supply ordering, maintenance requests, and office upkeep.
  • Provides data entry support in Raiser's Edge, records call reports, pledge reminders, and other basic data entry tasks.
  • Assists with event coordination, including set-up, staffing, and RSVP management.
Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of two years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other software used by the Office of Advancement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
