Accounting Technician Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to support our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various accounting tasks, including data entry, report preparation, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process and administer accounts receivable and payable, and perform daily cash management functions.
  • Respond to information requests and perform other general clerical and administrative duties.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or general business, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with related industry experience preferred.
  • Strong calculator and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work as a member of a team-oriented environment.
