Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, while maintaining and promoting the health of patients.
- Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams to manage and coordinate patient care, advocating for patients and families to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns.
- Develop and implement protocols to ensure patient safety, conducting health assessments and identifying normal/abnormal health characteristics to develop plans of care and initiate interventions.
- Lead and initiate outcome, quality, and safety improvement activities, integrating and contributing to professional practice standards, policies, and procedures.
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Two years of registered nurse, advanced practice, or nurse practitioner clinical experience
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days
- APRN - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Texas Board of Nursing
- Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification -- as Nurse Practitioner based on applicable patient population
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)
- AP - Prescriptive Authority - Texas Board of Nursing
- DEA - Narcotics License (DEA) within 6 months
- Demonstrated leadership and clinical expertise in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interprofessional teams
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and role components, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care
- Proficient time management skills and ability to work autonomously
