Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Summary:

Plexsys Interface Products is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our database systems, designing and implementing new database programs, and troubleshooting database issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain continuous operation of multi-data storages to ensure the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) is operating at optimal performance level.
  • Assist development teams in designing new database programs that meet the organization's data storage needs.
  • Write new support programs, scripts, and queries to increase data storage capacity.
  • Generate and review database and user reports, as well as system information.
  • Perform debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, and resolve conflicts.
  • Adhere to best practices in securely storing, backing up, and archiving data.
  • Document processes related to database design, configuration, and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and best practices in database engineering.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an active or current DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
  • 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or 13 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules to support customer requirements.
  • Must be onsite at the job site. Non-remote.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
