Job Title: System Administrator

ManTech is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our Air Force / Space team at Nellis AFB. The successful candidate will support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine hardware, software, and systems specifications, and configuration requirements.
  • Execute patching, fixing, and making all assigned systems compliant.
  • Plan, install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Hyper V, Microsoft Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, client products across multiple networks, and network storage.
  • Provide support to users in the areas of account management, enterprise applications, desktop applications, and peripherals.
  • Work closely with the ISSO for data transfers and media creation.
  • Facilitate and coordinate user account creation and modification.
  • Perform other hardware and software tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level II or higher.
  • Working technical competency in one or more of the following supported platforms: Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, MS Hyper-V/VMWare/ESx/Xen Hypervisors, Enterprise networking/firewalls/intrusion detection/prevention systems, forensic analysis/vulnerability assessment, Group Policy management and configuration, Scripting, BMC Footprints, WSUS, Lumension, Bitlocker, SQL Server 2012, TomCat, IIS, Windows Server 2012r2/2016, Win 10, Red Hat 6.
  • 5, Microsoft Office.
  • Toolkits, SEIMs, Logrhythm, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, mandatory/role-based access control concepts (e.g. SE Linux extensions to RHEL, PitBull, AppArmor, and Sentris), video teleconferencing/VOIP, Oracle/MS SQL database security, and Apache/IIS Web server security.
  • Active/Valid TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility).
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
