Job Summary:

US Tech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Server Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Windows Server Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting all Windows servers, including the Operating System. You will also be responsible for recovering Windows servers in the event of hardware failure, deploying Microsoft Windows OS patches, and providing good support to mission-critical mid-range server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support all Windows servers, including the Operating System
  • Recover Windows servers in the event of hardware failure
  • Deploy Microsoft Windows OS patches
  • Provide good support to mission-critical mid-range server infrastructure
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create multi-discipline solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and convert them into opportunities
  • Provide technical expertise in VMware, vSphere, vCenter, and Hyper-V Server
  • Develop and maintain technical artifacts for solutions, including Power Point, Visio, and Excel
  • Provide management updates and reports on project responsibilities, progress, dependencies, risks, and escalations

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Windows Server administration and management
  • Knowledge of VMware, vSphere, vCenter, and Hyper-V Server
  • Experience in deploying Microsoft Windows OS patches
  • Good working knowledge of ESXI and related cluster support and Vcentre knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skill, technical and documentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to support multiple initiatives at any given time
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and assist in solutions
  • Ability to identify challenges and convert them into opportunities
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on creating multi-discipline solutions
  • Ability to work comfortably with people from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments with discipline in a remote/home working environment
  • Excellent knowledge on ITIL process
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, ability to handle and work customer escalations to satisfactory resolution, sense of ownership and credibility
  • Excellent knowledge and ability in Microsoft Office products, especially Power-Point, Word, and Excel
