Job Title: Clinical Behavioral Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Behavioral Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a Clinical Behavioral Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing essential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individual Support Plans to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and interviews with individuals and their support networks
  • Observe and record behavior in various settings, including residential, vocational, and in-home environments
  • Collaborate with staff to implement Individual Support Plans and provide training
  • Advocate for the rights and dignity of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Document progress and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services field, such as psychology, social work, or special education
  • Two years of experience in a related field, with a focus on behavioral health and support
  • Training in behavior modification techniques and knowledge of specialized populations and disciplines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their support networks
  • Reliable, responsible, and caring nature, with a commitment to the values of Sevita
