Pump Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pump Technician to join our team at Wind River Environmental LLC in Montpelier, VT.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a company service truck and driving to various locations to pump septic tanks. This position involves direct contact with customers, ensuring their satisfaction through excellent customer service interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with WRE and DOT requirements.
- Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency by following daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance.
- Perform customer service interaction when on the work site.
- Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup, or hazards on the work order and provide recommendations for maintenance or service.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must hold a Class A or B CDL with the ability and willingness to obtain a tanker endorsement if requested.
- No restrictions; must be able to drive a manual transmission.
- At least 21 years of age.
- At least one year of professional commercial driving experience (post-school).
- Ability to successfully pass a DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam, and road exams.
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
- Must meet physical demands evaluation requirements.
Our competitive starting hourly rate is $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
