Job Summary:
The Service Manager at Cinépolis Cinemas USA is a brand ambassador responsible for upholding the company's standards of luxury service. This role involves overseeing Front-of-House operations, including Guest Services, Servers, Bartenders, Runners, and Concessions, to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Interview, hire, and train hourly staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Scheduling and Task Assignment: Assign work tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure shift coverage to meet business needs.
- Leadership and Coaching: Build professional relationships with team members and stakeholders, provide direction, coaching, and leadership to drive results.
- Guest Experience: Conduct daily meetings, set sales goals, and monitor sales numbers to make operational adjustments and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Facility Management: Supervise In-Seat Dining process, ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and functionality, and assist with special events.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively manage guest issues and complaints, and collaborate with Regional Projectionist on film operations.
- Professional Development: Participate in meetings and trainings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Hospitality preferred.
- Experience: Experience in bar and restaurant management, supervisory experience in a hospitality setting, and knowledge of inventory control and operations.
- Skills: Strong leadership and motivational skills, professional appearance and demeanor, effective communication and decision-making abilities, customer-focused with problem-solving skills, self-motivated and results-driven, organizational and time management skills, and accountability and high performance standards.
Working Conditions:
This role requires standing, walking, lifting, and bending. The employee must also have the ability to lift and move objects. Working in a cinema environment with moderate to high noise levels is to be expected.
