Position Summary

The Imaging Services Technologist is tasked with executing radiologic procedures. This role encompasses a variety of technical tasks that necessitate independent judgment, initiative, and creativity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. External interactions include patients, their families, and physicians, while internal interactions involve nursing staff and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct general radiography imaging studies under the guidance of the Chief Technologist and Director of Imaging Services.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures while delivering patient care and related non-professional services to ensure the comfort and needs of patients and their families.
  • Identify and communicate patient needs to foster a safe and welcoming patient care environment.
Qualifications
  • Graduate or eligible for graduation with an Associate's degree from an accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
  • Certification from the State of Washington Department of Health.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required; if pending, must complete within six months of hire.
  • MA-P certification is required for those performing Phlebotomy.
