Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist I is a key member of the Inland Imaging team, responsible for performing general diagnostic radiography exams, including fluoroscopy. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general diagnostic radiography exams, including fluoroscopy, under the direct or indirect supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Prepare exam rooms, maintain clean and stocked radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Assist patients as needed to obtain quality exams, including physically maneuvering/lifting patients to a standing position or exam table.
  • Participate in the training of students in the educational radiologic technologist program.
  • Perform portable radiographic exams and operate C-Arm in OR, Endoscopy, or other appropriate areas.
  • Work in a hospital, urgent care, or clinical setting, adhering to all DOH, TJC, Inland Imaging, and partnering facilities policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • AA Degree preferred or Military Equivalent.
  • Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program required.
  • One year experience preferred, with anatomy and medical terminology knowledge.
  • Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure and ARRT (R) certification required.
  • Valid state driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a hospital, urgent care, or clinical setting, with exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials.
  • May be required to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with complex cases and high acuity patients.

Treats all patients and coworkers with dignity and respect, providing excellent customer service and conforming to Joint Commission and HIPAA regulations.
