About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Monroe Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall physical aspects of our communities meet the established standards for safety, appearance, and operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • Conduct property and unit inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain the property's curb appeal and general cleanliness.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance tasks and vendors.
  • Purchase materials and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure that maintenance teams deliver safe, decent, and sanitary housing to all residents.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in apartment or multi-family maintenance.
  • English language proficiency (read, speak, and write).
  • The ability to pass a full background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge.
  • Experience in an affordable housing environment.
  • Technical training and license.
