Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Training Programs: Plan, direct, and implement safety training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct Workplace Inspections: Inspect organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, and determine corrective or preventive measures where indicated.
- Lead Investigations and Compile Reports: Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and injuries, and compile and submit accident and incident reports.
- Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to employees at all levels of the organization, and provide support and guidance to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Manage Safety Records and Reporting: Maintain and submit safety records, including OSHA 300 logs, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of safety incidents.
- Collaborate with Management and Teams: Collaborate with management and teams to develop and implement safety policies and procedures, and ensure effective communication and training.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and specialized or technical training, or 2 years of related experience equivalent to specialized or technical training.
- Certifications and Licenses: Certification Forklift Instructor, Certification 1st Aid/CPR/AED, Certification OSHA 10 Hour General Industry, and Hazardous Material Certification.
