At Enerfab, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a crucial role in promoting and enforcing safety policies and procedures on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites to identify hazards and non-compliance issues. Document inspection findings, including safety violations and potential risks, and collaborate with the Site Safety Manager to implement corrective actions.
- Incident Reporting: Assist in incident reporting and investigation procedures, including near misses, injuries, and property damage. Document and maintain accurate records of incidents and investigations, and assist in the development of corrective action plans and follow-up on their implementation.
- Safety Training: Assist in coordinating safety training sessions and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors. Promote a culture of safety awareness among construction personnel, maintain training records, and track compliance.
- Safety Compliance: Support the enforcement of safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Assist in ensuring that all construction activities comply with safety requirements, monitor personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and compliance, and maintain safety documentation, including safety plans, permits, and emergency response plans.
- Emergency Response: Assist in emergency response planning and drills, and serve as a member of the site's emergency response team, if applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional safety training or certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of prior safety or EHS experience in a construction or industrial environment.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact with diverse personnel.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a safety-oriented role.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds and may occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
