Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve accounts payable documents from various departments, ensuring compliance with IFRS and GAAP.
  • Examine and approve purchase requisitions for each department, adhering to internal control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain vendor master data in SAP or the E-accounting system, setting up new vendors as required.
  • Respond to vendor statements verification requests or AP payment inquiries.
  • Prepare AP list statements for vendors.
  • Prepare intercompany transactions for the Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) system after monthly close.
  • Maintain the Accounting department's office supplies.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual audits.
  • Organize and maintain files in the accounting file room.
  • Distribute invoices to responsible departments.
  • Identify and implement productivity and process improvements.
  • Ensure company adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Assist the department with month-end closing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one to three years of accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to complete routine accounts payable tasks accurately and on-time.
  • Proven knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proven time management and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and maintain accurate and timely work products.
  • Proven ability to work interdependently as a member of the Accounting Team.
