UTMB Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Audiology Resident to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Audiology Resident will provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services to individuals with hearing and balance difficulties under the supervision of a Certified Audiologist.
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and treatment services to patients with hearing and balance difficulties
- Work under the supervision of a Certified Audiologist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hearing and balance disorders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current enrollment in a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program
- Eligible for Au.D. externship
- Eligible for Intern license from the Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diverse practicum experience
- Initiative and good communication skills
- Desire to learn and good teamwork skills
