An esteemed engineering firm, Harrison Consulting Solutions, is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to lead their team in the heart of Detroit. As a key member of this multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the management and design of various civil projects, ensuring seamless execution from conception to completion.


Responsibilities include:

  • Civil project management and plan preparation
  • Project design for utility improvements, stormwater management, grading, residential street enhancements, site development, institutional campus improvements, and sports field design
  • Developing compelling presentations for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring project progress and preparing comprehensive status reports
  • Providing technical expertise to team members
  • Responsible for budget tracking, cost control, and report preparation
  • Mentoring junior staff members
  • Leading CAD drafters/designers

This role requires:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years of relevant design experience
  • PE registration is preferred
  • Proficiency in analysis software
  • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D, Map 3D, GIS, and/or BIM
