Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure and IT systems. This role involves configuring, managing, and optimizing cloud resources to ensure security and efficiency within our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for

  • Configuring, managing, and monitoring server instances, databases, storage, and networking within cloud environments.
  • Implementing and maintaining cloud security measures, including firewalls, access policies, and security audits.
  • Optimizing cloud resources for maximum performance and cost efficiency.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Cloud Infrastructure Architect will also

  • Administer operating systems across servers and other devices, including regular updates and security patches.
  • Manage network configurations and settings.
  • Use monitoring and diagnostic tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both cloud and systems management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining robust security measures. The required qualifications include

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional work experience as a systems administrator, network administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, operating systems, and IT security.
  • Experience with automation scripts and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
