Job Title: Youth Mental Health Services Director

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Youth Mental Health Services Director to join our team at River Edge Behavioral Health.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and delivery of behavioral healthcare services to children and adolescents. This includes supervising clinicians, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with funding bodies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide individual and family therapy in clinics and schools to youth with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders
  • Complete behavior health assessments for child and adolescent clients seen in-clinic
  • Manage budgets, authorizations, billing, staffing patterns, productivity, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Implement changes in program standards as required or needed
  • Ensure all reports are completed and submitted appropriately
  • Monitor training records and ensure training for staff meets requirements
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings and committees
  • Meet with community partners to develop relationships and promote services
  • Provide clinical supervision to assigned agency staff
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage & family counseling, or rehab counseling, and a full clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • At least four years of experience providing behavioral health services, preferably with a community service board
  • At least two years of relevant supervisory experience
  • Strong clinical skills, supervisory skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and remain organized
Competencies

This position requires strong competencies in patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, system-based practice, and cultural competence.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
