About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Architecture to join our faculty at Texas Tech University. The successful candidate will contribute to the university's mission through teaching, research, and service.

Responsibilities
  • Teach core surveys in global architectural history and elective seminars at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Develop and maintain a research agenda that aligns with the History of Architecture program.
  • Engage in service activities, including participation in college committees, university service, professional service, and community service and engagement.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in the History of Architecture.
  • Evidence of a clearly defined research agenda.
  • Detailed knowledge of the history of architecture across different periods, cultures, and geographies.
  • Evidence of experience and/or potential to deliver a broad survey of global architectural history.
  • Evidence of excellence in classroom teaching.
