Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician III to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts, and optimizing machine productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair molding equipment, including training others on its proper use.
  • Ensure the quality of produced parts by implementing quality control measures and training others in these procedures.
  • Pull and set molds according to manufacturing requirements and train others in this process.
  • Navigate PLC systems to change robot setups and train colleagues in this skill.
  • Check moisture content in materials and educate others on this process.
  • Operate small quality testing equipment, such as calipers and micrometers, and instruct others in their use.
  • Expertly maintain molds, including date stamping and mold cleaning, and train others in these procedures.
  • Clean screws and perform basic molding machine maintenance, with the ability to train others.
  • Troubleshoot issues with molding machines and provide training to others in this area.
  • Read blueprints and teach others how to interpret them.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification necessary.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in related fields is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are required.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment is crucial.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills are necessary, along with significant computer proficiency.
  • Weekend work may be required, with 24-hour notice provided.
