About the Opportunity

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking an Advanced Anesthesia Specialist to join our team of experienced professionals. This is a long-term opportunity that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia services in a variety of settings, including general-maintenance OR cases and obstetrics. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in anesthesia practice and excellent communication skills. They will also be able to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

This position offers a base salary of $180,000 per year, plus benefits and bonuses. The schedule includes 10, 12, and 16-hour shifts, as well as on-call responsibilities. Call details include second call from home, a call ratio of 1:16, and general-main OR and OB in-house calls.

You will be working with a range of case types, including neuro, GI, EP, cath lab, general, GYN, OB, and ortho. Given the full scope of practice, you will have the autonomy to make decisions and provide care without supervision.

No teaching responsibilities are associated with this position, allowing you to focus on patient care and professional development.
