Reveler's Hour: A Culinary Experience


We are a wine and pasta focused restaurant in Washington DC, known for our commitment to sustainability and seasonal cooking. As part of the team that brought you Tail Up Goat, a Michelin-starred, James Beard-nominated restaurant, we seek a full-time or part-time Line Cook who shares our passion for responsible sourcing and professional growth.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain station setup, ensuring a seamless service experience.
  • Cut, chop, mix, and prepare sauces according to recipes and standards.
  • Grill, fry, sauté, and cook food items using various methods and techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow food sanitation requirements, storing food correctly and handling it safely.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces during and at the end of each shift.
  • Perform inventory checks and record food storage logs accurately.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational abilities and accuracy in task execution.
  • Ability to work as a team member and follow instructions.

Requirements:

  • One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods and industry best practices.

Compensation:

$21-24/hour based on experience. In addition to your hourly rate, you earn tips based on hours worked.
