HR Operations Specialist

The Human Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing HR operations at STOA Group. This position will coordinate key aspects of recruitment, employee engagement, office operations, and HR compliance.
Responsibilities- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Support recruitment strategies by ensuring job postings include all necessary components to attract top talent and recommend job boards or platforms for posting.
- Assist hiring managers with interview coordination, candidate communication, and recruitment processes to ensure a seamless experience.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring new hires are set up for success while identifying and recommending improvements to enhance the onboarding process.
- Employee Engagement & Programs:
- Plan and execute employee engagement programs, including wellness initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition events.
- Coordinate internal communications, including the company calendar, employee newsletters, and milestone celebrations.
- Analyze employee feedback and engagement trends to identify opportunities for program enhancements that align with company culture and goals.
- Office Operations:
- Oversee office management, including supply inventory, vendor coordination (cleaning, pest control, office services), and conference room scheduling.
- Manage mail, deliveries, and general office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Recommend and implement cost-saving solutions for office operations and vendor contracts.
- HR Compliance & Administration:
- Coordinate pre-hire processes, including background checks, new hire reporting, and employment verifications.
- Track compliance training completion (e.g., OSHA, CPR) and recommend next steps to address any gaps.
- Assist with offboarding processes, including separation documents and unemployment claims, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback for trends, and present recommendations to leadership to enhance retention.
- Process Improvement & HR Projects:
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance employee support.
- Lead the coordination of HR projects, such as onboarding enhancements, employee engagement initiatives, and office operations improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure tools and systems (e.g., HRIS, Asana) are utilized effectively to support HR initiatives.
