The Lead Financial Strategist will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for North America. Core Responsibilities:
  • Enhance financial performance by scrutinizing results, tracking variances, identifying patterns, and advising management on actionable strategies. Analyze historical and current financial data and performance metrics.

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to meet both current and emerging business requirements.
  • Investigate potential investment avenues.
  • Assess ongoing capital investments.
  • Collaborate with various business units to review financial data and forecasts.
  • Develop financial models and forecasting tools.
  • Comprehend key operational metrics and assess performance against established benchmarks.
  • Support the closing processes for service and holding companies.
  • Create financial and operational models that illustrate scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate impacts on financial outcomes, investment returns, and projected growth.
  • Engage with business units in pricing strategies, requests for proposals, and cost structure evaluations.
  • Undertake additional special projects, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
  • Experience in a complex organizational environment conducting productive financial analyses.
  • A strong work ethic with a focus on results.
  • Previous experience in treasury functions is advantageous.
  • Experience in developing long-term financial forecasts and budgets, along with preparing reports and ad-hoc analyses.
  • A background in managing special projects beyond routine analyses.
  • Experience working with diverse data sources and formats.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel spreadsheet development.
