Senior Payroll Specialist Job Summary

Inova Payroll is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team and deliver exceptional service and support to our client accounts.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely with flexible hours and develop an in-depth understanding of our complex payroll and timekeeping application.

About the Role:

The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payrolls, troubleshooting issues, and providing online application training and support within the UKGR/Kronos Workforce Ready application.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver value-added client service through maintaining good working relationships and timely response to questions and inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our complex payroll and timekeeping application to assist clients through continuous training, troubleshooting, and analysis.
  • Coordinate and perform complex duties in preparation, processing, and maintenance of payroll, salary, and benefit data for accurate and on-time payment to client employees.
  • Collect, analyze, update, and reconcile payroll data on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Research and analyze discrepancies and process appropriate payroll and other adjustment entries.
  • Perform calculation and application of garnishment deduction orders.
  • Prepare supplemental payrolls as needed.
  • Review and balance payroll data to ensure accuracy of reporting and distribution of funds.
  • Resolve and/or coordinate the resolution or escalation of client support issues as needed.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in payroll, preferably in a service bureau environment.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Knowledge of payroll, benefits, and other HRIS functions preferred.
Compensation Package:

£46,000 - £66,000 per annum, based on industry standards and qualifications.
