Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems, including PLCs, A/C and DC drives.
  • Determine the underlying causes of problems, propose solutions, and supervise corrective measures.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as necessary.
  • Program various types of PLCs effectively.
  • Support Safety, Quality, HPS, and Cost objectives and metrics.
  • Encourage a collaborative team atmosphere through engagement and leadership by example.
  • Revise and update schematics, ensuring accurate documentation for the engineering team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on support and installation.
  • Preferred associate degree in Controls or Industrial Maintenance.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience and technical training.
  • Expertise in SCADA, Rockwell RS Logix, AMSC, Allen Bradley, Siemens, and other legacy PLCs.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet and Fiber Optic Communication Systems.
  • Experience with SQL databases, solenoid and pneumatic controls, as well as instrumentation and process monitoring.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $37.00, subject to adjustments based on experience and market conditions.
