We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Ambulatory Medicine to join our team at Community Memorial Health System. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to evaluate and identify opportunities for clinical performance improvement, and to helping achieve superior outcomes in clinical services throughout the system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods and strategies to engage clinicians in adopting evidence-based practices to drive and achieve top decile clinical performance
  • Develop alignment strategies to strengthen physician relationships and collaborative team-based care
  • Develop educational programs for physicians
  • Manage relationships with hospital-based, affiliated, and independent physicians
  • Initiatives aimed at improving patient safety, quality of care, and rigorously managing hospital costs
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in medicine
  • Five years' experience
  • Current and unrestricted California MD or DO license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous CMO experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
