Position Overview:

This role is situated in a dynamic industrial environment, requiring extensive experience in instrumentation and electrical systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document pre-shift evaluations on mobile machinery.
  • Execute timely inspections, lubrication, and corrective actions to enhance plant operations and equipment reliability.
  • Perform and supervise electrical repairs to optimize plant processes and machinery.
  • Complete necessary documentation to track tasks, request tools and parts, and communicate with management.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and unused materials.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow transitions during breaks and shift changes.
  • Work alongside production staff to ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt product quality or output.
  • Prioritize safety by utilizing appropriate tools and repair components to achieve durable and quality-enhancing electrical repairs.
  • Assist in planning and installation of new electrical and electronic systems within the facility.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems following established protocols.
  • Manage process control and instrumentation, including network management and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee plant automation and control systems, including HMI and PLC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement capital projects while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
  • Document and manage changes and improvements to systems and processes.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on production and safety equipment.
  • Provide training and mentorship to electrical team members.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in designated work areas.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO, Confined Space, and other safety policies.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years as an electrical technician in an industrial setting, with training and experience in PLC and three-phase power systems.


Required Skills:
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Mathematical skills, including fractions and basic geometry.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams.
