Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Jefferson Dental and Orthodontics. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with dentists to provide empathetic education to patients and present financing options in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Process patient paperwork and insurance verifications, and schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide individualized customer care by addressing patient needs, questions, and concerns in a respectful and friendly manner.
  • Reduce patient wait times by preparing and reviewing schedules, charts, and additional information needed from patients before their visit.
  • Initiate patient paperwork for treatment, conduct insurance verification, and process in-office payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office environment, overseeing the cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby and front office.
  • Provide assistance in other areas of the clinic as requested, and participate in community outreach initiatives to promote our practice.
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18 required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
  • Active RDA certification highly preferred, with a requirement to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year of dental office experience and 1 year of patient care or customer service experience highly preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer use and data entry skills required.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work clinic hours, including Saturdays.

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
