Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain Linux systems, including Red Hat Linux Server environment
  • Implement and enforce industry best practices for Linux system administration and accreditation
  • Apply DoD STIG checklists to Linux systems to ensure compliance
  • Develop and implement scripting skills using shell scripting, PERL, and Python
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement network architecture and infrastructure
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with log analysis tools, such as Graylog
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure management tools, such as RedHat Satellite
  • Knowledge of system automation tools, such as Ansible
  • Exposure to Apache HTTP Server, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and databases
