About the Job

As a seasoned Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Redhat/Centos Linux systems. Your experience in deploying infrastructure through automation and implementing security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and monitor Redhat/Centos Linux systems
  • Deploy infrastructure through automation
  • Implement and maintain security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes
  • Experience in Linux automation using Kickstart, Podman, and Ansible
  • Experience in creating and using containers in a LINUX and Windows Environment
  • Experience customizing/optimizing/trouble shooting enterprise level applications
  • Security administration experience in support of RMF requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements
  • Ability to integrate RMF principles into ground-up builds
  • Experience with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks
  • Experience with testing applications such as Jenkins, Jira, and Bitbucket
  • Experience in using and creating LDAP for Windows and LINUX IDM

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience or,
Master's Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience
DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification
Top Secret Clearance with SCI and CI Poly

Preferred Additional Skills:
DoD M IAT Level 3 certification (e.g. CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH).

Current Linux Certifications such as:
RedHat Certification (RHCSA or RHCE)
CompTIA Linux+
LPIC (any level)

SANS GCUX
Experience in the use of IT tools for managing and troubleshooting complex computer networks
Previous experience supporting DoD & IC Government customers
Experience with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks
Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience
Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience with Virtualization (KVM), Backup Technologies such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, SAS
Experience supporting DoD/government customers
Experience integrating and administering cross-domain systems
Experience with microservices, containers (i.e., docker)
