Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the effective management of designated operations to achieve both current and future objectives.

The Operations Team Leader will accomplish this by cultivating a team of supervisors committed to fulfilling the annual targets for the facility.

Supervise Value Stream and Center of Excellence Supervisors.

Core Duties:
Direct and steer the production operations.
Provide cross-functional leadership across the entire team, including operations, planning, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering.
Accountable for developing overarching operational plans and manufacturing policies.
Manage the budget for operations.
Lead safety initiatives, which encompass the administration of safety protocols, inspections, training, awareness, and record maintenance.
Address safety, production, quality, scrap, incentive, and maintenance challenges through effective communication with team members, supervisors, and support functions.
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles throughout areas of responsibility to enhance factory efficiency and customer lead times.

Achieve annual operational plan goals related to shipment revenue, productivity improvements, inventory turnover, customer service benchmarks, quality standards, and Lean Transformation.


Qualifications:
Education: A four-year degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or materials management.

Experience:
Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience in implementing Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Green or Black Belt Certification is preferred.
A strong grasp of Financial Accounting principles within a manufacturing context is crucial.
Ability to lead and manage within a matrix organizational structure.
Solid understanding of assembly operations.
Customer-focused approach.
