We are seeking a skilled and experienced Correctional Nurse Specialist to join our team at Staff Today. As a Correctional Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to inmates in a correctional facility
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Experience working in a correctional setting
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a background check
