About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relational Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals and families within our community, understanding their interests and needs, and connecting them to Jewish experiences and institutions.
  • Donor Prospecting: Identify and engage new potential donors, introducing them to our fundraising team to explore philanthropic opportunities.
  • Leadership Development: Identify and develop leaders throughout the community, amplifying diverse voices and connecting them with leadership opportunities within our organization.
  • Programs and Gatherings: Plan and execute events that engage our community, partner organizations, and demonstrate our presence in the community.
  • Jewish Federation Integration and Communications: Maintain a strong communications presence within our community, working closely with our marketing team to craft and distribute compelling messaging.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work well with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to take projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong familiarity with Jewish traditions and the ability to lead Jewish events and connect effectively within the Jewish community.
  • Ability to work evenings, occasional weekends, and holidays as needed.
