About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior LLM Engineer Manager to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our AI Engineering chapter, you will be responsible for setting the direction, establishing objectives and key results, and working on the staffing and development of your chapter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead AI Engineering Chapter: Set the direction, establish objectives and key results, and work on the staffing and development of your chapter to maximize outputs and working products.
  • Collaborate with Tribe Leaders and Product Owners: Work with Tribe Leaders, Product Owners, and other Tribe Chapter Leads to manage chapter resources and ensure a positive collaboration.
  • Agile Transformation: Adopt agile principles, mindset, and ways of working into your daily routine, and work with Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters to ensure a smooth transformation.
  • Develop and Mentor Squad Members: Develop and mentor squad members to help improve domain knowledge and better serve the squads in which they work.
  • Share Knowledge and Expertise: Share relevant insights and developments within the area of expertise with chapter members and related chapters, and actively share knowledge and expertise across the organization with other chapters.
  • Identify Resource Needs: Engage with Product Owners, Tribe Leads, and Tech Area Leads to allocate chapter members and ensure squads have proper technical resourcing and functional expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: BA degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or similar field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience developing and experimenting with LLMs, and 6+ years of experience developing AI/ML technologies within large and business-critical applications.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Python and all associated DS libraries and frameworks, strong knowledge in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, experience with leveraging, training, and fine-tuning Foundation Models, including multimodal inputs and outputs, and strong experience working with key LLM models APIs and LLM Frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud infrastructure for AI/ML.
  • LLM Guardrails: Experience with LLM guardrails.
  • LLM Monitoring and Observability: Experience with LLM monitoring and observability.
  • Security: Experience with security related to LLM integration.
